WITH Motherhoods 2021
This online research presentation unfolds as a dialogue between Madeleine Planeix-Crocker, River Lin, Tung i-fen and Scarlet Yu. Hosted by ADAM Rehearsing (for) the Future 5, the conversation explores the relational and material dimensions of accessibility through the lens of mothering as method.
Focusing on three everyday urban sites—the bathroom, the playground, and the roadside—the dialogue traces observations across Tainan, Taipei, Berlin, and Paris. How do these spaces, shaped by cultural codes and material design, interact with the embodied experience of care?
The research emerges from a year-long series of FullMoon Meetings between a queer artist and two mother-artists, each raising a toddler. Together, they use the practice of mothering as a point of departure to investigate the entangled realities, representations, and resistances of motherhood within contemporary society.

對談聚焦於三個城市場域——浴室、遊樂場與路邊——橫跨台南、台北、柏林與巴黎，觀察這些空間在文化建構與物質設計中如何形塑母職經驗，並展現其日常中的張力與可能。
此研究源自一場持續一年的「滿月會議」，由一位酷兒藝術家與兩位同為新手母親的藝術家共同展開。三人透過「母職」的實踐與經驗，探索當代社會中關於母職再現、現實與關係的多重交織。
